This is a link to a case i find very interesting. The so called SOPA act, or the Stop Online Piracy Act. I think that it is a horrible idea and and an even more moronic bill. The fact that two of the Netherlands largest internet providers already has blocked acces to pages such as The Pirate Bay, well.. it's just plain stupid. I feel that they violate my rights god damnit!
Then again, it is not that hard to work around the IP blocks... and I'm pretty sure that the companies are completely aware of it. So I have to ask myself, what do they really gain on doing something like that?
Time will show.
